And this is why I love my job!

This evening while sitting next to the window listening to the rain drops fall I get to work from home in my pj's with my family....gosh I love what I do! There's something about these images that just makes me fall in love. The miracle of life is definitely something work capturing and newborns are something so very special. So tiny and lovable.

My perfect little model

Jor is starting the love the camera...he knows to sit still and smile. I'll even get a pose from time to time too. My favorite is when he stares into the camera like this, it makes for such a GQ shot and this one just blows me away. My little man is so gorgeous...he reminds me so much of his older brother which is just icing on the cake!

Love is in the air

This fabulous couple just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with some family and close friends. I was asked to come snap a few photos of the happy couple and their beautiful children and I even incorporated some of their amazing long time friend. This was my first time shooting at the temple but I've always admired it everytime I'd pass next to it on the freeway. These pictures really don't do it justice as it's way more beautiful in person! Little Peanut

I love everything about my job, I especially love when clients become friends and with this family it has developed into a special relationship. I photographed their first son about a year ago, so I was more than thrilled when they asked me to photograph their new baby boy. What can I say besides he's gorgeous just like big brother and super super tiny. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and capture some of the tiny baby parts we parents tend to forget. As always I loved seeing you M, your new baby is absolutely adorable. Thanks for the fabulous afternoon...now on to the eye candy!

He makes my heart smile

He really is my sweet little boy with just a slight case of those terrible two's LOL. Mischievous? yes he is....courious?...yes most definitely, but he's mine and I love him so. He'll be two in April and I still can't believe it. Either way I am looking forward to all the new adventures that'll be coming up during his second year of life!

Cutie Pie

A dear friend of mine Eve (a wedding coordinator in SD) welcomed her second son into the world last week. He is such a gorgeous little man with his perfect nose and plump lips I was in love! Thanks for the fun afternoon guys, I'm so happy for you all and I just know Shay is going to make one awesome big brother. Enjoy your peek guys ;)
